Trial of ex-soccer coach accused of killing boy in NY starts (The Associated Press)
The trial of a former college soccer coach accused of strangling his former girlfriend's 12-year-old son in October 2011 starts this week and may result in a verdict, yet it will likely do little to quell the five-year controversy swirling in this rural village in northern New York. Some in Potsdam see Oral ''Nick'' Hillary's trial as a chance to finally bring a measure of justice for the family of Garrett Phillips.
