Valencia fires coach Ayestaran after 4 straight losses (The Associated Press)
Valencia has fired coach Pako Ayestaran after the team started the season with four straight losses in the Spanish league. The announcement came two days after Valencia lost 2-1 at Athletic Bilbao, a result that left the club in last place in the 20-team standings. The team also lost to Las Palmas, Eibar and Real Betis.
