Tax officials in Argentina say the Argentine Football Association and about 10 clubs owe $9 million in unpaid taxes. The claim is disputed by clubs such as River Plate and others, which say they owe nothing. The Argentine Football Association is under the emergency management of world-governing body FIFA amid charge of fraud against its top leaders.
