Bony brace helps Stoke City win third straight (The Associated Press)
Two goals from Wilfried Bony and an own goal from Alfie Mawson saw Stoke City surge away from the bottom end of the table with a 3-1 win over Swansea City on Monday at the bet365 Stadium. Wayne Routledge scored Swansea's solitary goal, but it's still no win for Bob Bradley and no wins for the club in any competition since August 23. It could have been so much more for Stoke (3-3-4), who struck the post three times in the first half, but Mark Hughes will be happy with how his side performed and the turnaround they've made since being at the bottom five games in.
