Detroit defeats St. Louis after marathon shootout (Yahoo Sports)

Detroit's Frans Nielsen had no doubt who was the difference for the Red Wings on Thursday night: goalie Petr Mrazek. Henrik Zetterberg scored in the eighth round of a shootout to give Detroit a 2-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues. Zetterberg's goal gave the Red Wings a six-game winning streak.
