FC Dallas beats Galaxy 1-0, remains atop Supporters' Shield (The Associated Press)
Walker Zimmerman scored in the first half and FC Dallas beat the Los Angeles Galaxy 1-0 on Saturday night to remain atop the overall MLS standings. FC Dallas (16-8-8) snapped a three-game winless run and leads the Supporters' Shield race by five points. Los Angeles (11-6-15) has lost two straight after a six-game undefeated run, but clinched a playoff spot due to other results in the Western Conference.
