Late own goal gets Watford past Hull City (The Associated Press)
A late own goal by the unfortunate Michael Dawson earned Watford a deserved 1-0 victory over Hull City at Vicarage Road on Saturday. Watford, 2-2-0 in the last four, currently sit a surprising seventh in the Premier League table. In the 83rd minute, Watford substitute Daryl Janmaat played in a speculative low cross from the right that flicked off the boot of Roberto Pereyra and onto Dawson's thigh, which diverted the ball into the top corner of the net.
