Panathinaikos beats Asteras 3-1, stays atop Greek league (The Associated Press)

Cristian Ledesma scored twice from the penalty spot to lead Panathinaikos to a 3-1 victory over Asteras in the Greek league on Sunday. Marcus Berg opened the scoring only 22 seconds in and Ledesma made it 2-0 in the 39th minute. Asteras was left with 10 players in the 55th when Luis Farina was dismissed for spitting at an opponent.
