Top-seed Dallas opens playoffs in Seattle (The Associated Press)
Top-seeded FC Dallas will begin its quest for the club's first MLS Cup when it visits the Seattle Sounders in the first leg of the Western Conference semifinals on Sunday at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Wash. FC Dallas will be without star midfield Mauro Diaz, who underwent season-ending surgery after tearing his right Achilles tendon on Oct. 16. Diaz leads the team with 13 assists and is tied for fourth in scoring with five goals.
