Ake leads Bournemouth past Stoke (The Associated Press)
A first-half Nathan Ake header was enough to secure Bournemouth a surprise 1-0 win against an on-form Stoke City at the Bet 365 Stadium on Saturday. Bournemouth (4-3-5) were much the better side in possession of the ball, and finally scored when Ake came through at 26 minutes. Stoke (3-4-5) came to life a little more at the end of the first half, but with Steve Cook inspired at the back, they failed to really test Bournemouth keeper Adam Federici.
