Barnes' late goal sends Burnley by Crystal Palace (The Associated Press)
Substitute Ashley Barnes struck in stoppage time to steal all three points for Burnley in a thrilling 3-2 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday at Turf Moor. Sam Vokes and Johann Gudmundsson put the Clarets (4-2-5) up 2-0 in the first quarter of an hour before Connor Wickham pulled one back on the hour mark. Christian Benteke's late penalty kick had appeared to save a point for Palace (3-2-6), but Barnes' close-range finish made sure the victory went to Sean Dyche's men.
