Hertha Berlin captain Vedad Ibisevic reached a century of Bundesliga goals with a double against Mainz, securing a 2-1 victory before being sent off on Sunday. The veteran forward received his second yellow card in the 74th minute for a foul on Pablo De Blasis but Mainz had also been reduced to 10 men when Jean-Philippe Gbamin saw red five minutes earlier. Mainz led through Aaron Seydel's goal in the 25th minute but Ibisevic equalized before the break and grabbed the winner in the 67th as Hertha climbed to third with a sixth successive league win at home.
