Hull get by Southampton to end league slide (The Associated Press)
Hull City produced an excellent comeback to claim a valuable 2-1 victory over Southampton on Sunday at KCOM Stadium. Robert Snodgrass and Michael Dawson scored two minutes apart in the second half as Hull (3-1-7) snapped a six-game Premier League losing streak and won for the first time in the top flight since Aug. 20. Southampton (3-4-4) got off to the ideal start when Hull's Curtis Davies brought down Maya Yoshida inside the box and Charlie Austin was able to bury the resulting spot-kick with ease in the sixth minute.
