Liverpool striker Ings hurts knee, out for up to 9 months (The Associated Press)
Liverpool striker Danny Ings has been ruled out for up to nine months after hurting his right knee in the latest injury to set back his career. Ings damaged cartilage in his knee when attempting to make a tackle late in Liverpool's 2-1 win over Tottenham in the English League Cup last week. The 24-year-old Ings missed most of last season after an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his left knee.
