Midfielder Jewsbury moves to the front office (The Associated Press)
Retired Portland Timbers midfielder Jack Jewsbury will remain with the team as director of business development. Jewsbury retired at the end of this season after a 14-year career, including the last six seasons in Portland. Affectionately known as Captain Jack during his playing career, Jewsbury's new job in the front office will include developing new sponsorship opportunities.
