Sens hope for scoring touch against Chara-less Bruins (Yahoo Sports)
The Ottawa Senators will be hoping they've found their scoring touch when they host the Boston Bruins, who will be without captain Zdeno Chara, on Thursday at Canadian Tire Centre. The Senators (11-7-1) are coming off a 4-3 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday, the first time they've scored three or more goals in a game since Oct. 25 in a 3-0 win against the Vancouver Canucks, and the third goal in that game was into an empty net. Chara sustained a lower-body injury in the Bruins 4-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues in Beantown on Tuesday which dropped the Bruins record to 11-8-0.
