Stoke claim 1-0 win thanks to Gomes own goal (The Associated Press)
Stoke City cruised to a comfortable 1-0 win over Watford at Vicarage Road. The visitors had the likes of Joe Allen and Glen Whelan missing for their trip to an in-from Watford, but they ran out deserved winners thanks to an own goal from Heurelho Gomes. Stoke City started well and quickly began bossing the game from the first whistle.
