Sunderland-Bournemouth Preview (The Associated Press)
Desperate for any kind of momentum heading into the international break, Sunderland look to break their duck for the season and emerge with their first victory Saturday when they face Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium. It's becoming a historical season for all the wrong reasons for the Black Cats (0-2-8), who are rooted to the bottom of the table on two points. There was a glimmer of hope when Jermain Defoe converted from the spot on 65 minutes to forge a 1-1 tie, but two goals in quick succession by Olivier Giroud put an end to any thoughts of Sunderland getting the better of the Gunners.
