(Reuters) - The United States face an uphill battle to qualify for their eighth consecutive World Cup Finals after being demolished 4-0 by a rampant Costa Rica in San Jose on Tuesday. Four days after losing at home to Mexico, the U.S. were beaten again, leaving Jurgen Klinsmann's side anchored at the bottom of the qualifying table without a point from two matches. Costa Rica took the lead two minutes before half time when Johan Venegas rose unchallenged to glance home a Christian Bolanos cross.
