Atletico Nacional striker Orlando Berrio thanked Chapecoense fans for their support as the Colombian team finished third at the Club World Cup on Sunday. ''(They) have all been behind us and that is one of the reasons why we were able to perform well,'' Berrio said after helping his team to a 4-3 win on penalties after a 2-2 draw against Mexican side Club America. Nacional was scheduled to play Chapecoense in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final on Nov. 30 but the majority of the Brazilian team lost their lives in a plane crash while flying to the match.
