Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski signs extension to 2021 (The Associated Press)

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has extended his contract with the club through June 2021. Lewandowski says ''I'm delighted that the discussions came to a positive outcome and that I'm staying attached to Bayern for another few years. Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says the club is happy to secure the services of ''one of the best central forwards in the world'' on a long-term basis.
