Birthday boy Benteke scores twice to help Crystal Palace end skid (The Associated Press)
Christian Benteke notched a brace on his 26th birthday and Crystal Palace snapped a six-game losing streak with their 3-0 victory over Southampton on Saturday at Selhurst Park. The victory also ended a seven-match winless slide for Palace, who had not won since beating Sunderland 3-2 on Sept. 24.
