Chelsea 1, West Brom 0 (The Associated Press)
Chelsea overcame West Bromwich Albion with a 1-0 victory at Stamford Bridge on Sunday thanks to a second half goal from Diego Costa to move themselves back to the top of the Premier League. The visitors got forward well on the break and nearly found the net in the first half as Chris Brunt and Salomon Rondon both hit shots just wide. As much as Chelsea tried to move the ball forward through Eden Hazard and Victor Moses, they really found it hard to break down the West Bromwich Albion defence who had come with a clear game plan.
