Fabregas' goal gets Chelsea by Sunderland (The Associated Press)
English Premier League leaders Chelsea took the spoils at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday night in an eventful game that saw the only goal scored by Cesc Fabregas. As expected, the home side set out their stall on the defensive for most of the encounter hoping to contain the powerful Chelsea forward line and grab something on the break. With Chelsea increasingly dominant, the crucial breakthrough came on 40 minutes.
