Kalinic ends scoring drought as Fiorentina beats Sassuolo (The Associated Press)
Nikola Kalinic ended his goalscoring drought at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in style with a first-half double to propel Fiorentina to a 2-1 win against Sassuolo in Serie A on Monday. Kalinic had scored twice for Fiorentina at home in the Europa League this season but all his six goals in the league had come on the road. The Croatia forward hadn't found the back of the net at the Franchi in Serie A since a 2-1 defeat to Juventus in April.
