Matt Miazga scores for Arnhem, 1st goal since move to Europe (The Associated Press)
American defender Matt Miazga scored his first goal since leaving the New York Red Bulls for Europe, putting Vitesse Arnhem ahead early in the first half of a 4-0 win over fifth-tier Jodan Boys in the third round of the Dutch Cup. Miazga scored in the 14th minute of Wednesday's match, taking a touch off a thigh to control a failed clearance, then taking a 16-yard left-footed shot. The 21-year-old from Clifton, New Jersey, played for the Red Bulls from 2013-15, then joined Chelsea in January.
