Mike Hoffman scores PP goal in OT, Senators edge Ducks 2-1 (Yahoo Sports)

Mike Hoffman scored a power-play goal at 4:03 of overtime to give the Ottawa Senators a 2-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday night. Hoffman's one-timer on a pass from Dion Phaneuf beat John Gibson in the Anaheim goal. Andrew Cogliano took a high-sticking minor at 3:23 of the extra period, giving the Senators a four-on-three advantage.
