West Ham beats Burnley 1-0 to end 6-game winless league run (The Associated Press)

Mark Noble fired West Ham to a nervy but crucial 1-0 win over Burnley in the English Premier League on Wednesday following a run of six league games without a victory. A glaring miss from Burnley striker Sam Vokes and a superb save from goalkeeper Darren Randolph secured three vital points for West Ham manager Slaven Bilic. It was West Ham's first victory after a run of seven games without a win in all competitions, and moved the London club four points clear of the relegation zone.
