Swansea City beats Southampton for second straight win (The Associated Press)

Swansea City claimed back-to-back Premier League victories as they beat Southampton 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night. The Swans (6-14-3) took the lead in the first half when Alfie Mawson slammed a deflected header into the back of the net before Shane Long equalised after the break. Southampton (7-10-6) started the better side in Wales and Long lashed wide of the near post after just three minutes with Paul Clement's charges looking nervous.
