Chelsea defeats Swamsea to build gap atop standings (The Associated Press)
Chelsea went 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League with a hard-fought 3-1 win over Swansea City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Cesc Fabregas gave the hosts the lead after 19 minutes, but Fernando Llorente levelled things up with a thumping header on the stroke of half time. Lukasz Fabianski allowed Pedro's long-range effort to sneak under him after 72 minutes before Diego Costa made sure of the victory inside the final 10 minutes to make it 12 successive home wins for Antonio Conte's men.
