Kane nets brace, Spurs top Everton (The Associated Press)
Harry Kane remained in red-hot form on Sunday, netting a goal on either side of the break as Tottenham Hotspur hung on to claim a 3-2 victory over Everton at a raucous White Hart Lane. Both clubs came into the clash in excellent form as Spurs were going for a club-record ninth consecutive home win, while Everton were riding a nine-match unbeaten streak in league play. The game also featured a marquee striker matchup between Kane and Everton's Romelu Lukaku.
