Spanish club won't play rest of season after 12-0 defeat (The Associated Press)

A third-division Spanish club won't play the rest of the season after a record-tying 12-0 defeat sealed its relegation. Founded in 1921 in eastern Spain, Eldense said on Sunday it will provisionally cease all sporting activity and end its contract with a group of Italian investors, a day after its humiliation at Barcelona ''B'' team. The 12-0 loss equaled a record for Spain's third division.
