Andriy Yarmolenko scored the only goal Monday as Ukraine won a friendly international 1-0 against a Wales team which was missing Gareth Bale over fitness concerns. Ukraine's goal came in the 27th minute from a well-worked free kick routine, Ruslan Rotan lobbing the ball over the wall for Yarmolenko to prod past Wayne Hennessey. Both Ukraine and Wales created chances in a game which was a solid test for both teams ahead of the European Championship finals.
