Sporting stays close to Benfica in Portugal (The Associated Press)
LISBON, Portugal (AP) -- Islam Slimani and Teo Gutierrez scored a pair of goals each as Sporting Lisbon defeated Belenenses 5-2 Monday to stay close to Portuguese leader Benfica, while Porto fell further behind after a shock 1-0 home loss to last-place Tondela.
