Dann's goal gives Palace first points of season (The Associated Press)
Bournemouth were so close to securing their first victory of the campaign before settling for a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday after Scott Dann headed home the Eagles' first goal of the season. Dann's tally deep into extra time ensured the Eagles narrowly avoided a third consecutive 1-0 loss to start the season. In the end, it was a deserved draw after Bournemouth dominated the first half and Palace the second.
