Rose helps Tottenham Hotspur earn tie with Liverpool (The Associated Press)
Danny Rose scored the equaliser in the 72nd minute as Tottenham Hotspur salvaged a 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Saturday at White Hart Lane. It marked the third straight tie between the powerful Premier League squads, who have both dealt with some early season inconsistency. Left frustrated from a 2-0 loss to newly promoted Burnley last weekend, Liverpool (1-1-1) controlled play throughout the first half and was rewarded when James Milner converted a penalty kick in the 43rd minute.
