Danny Rose's second-half equalizer earned Tottenham a 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Saturday in a match between two outsiders for the English Premier League title. Liverpool had the better of a frenetic, entertaining game at White Hart Lane and took the lead through James Milner's 43rd-minute penalty after Roberto Firmino was tripped by Erik Lamela. Rose preserved Spurs' unbeaten start to the season by scoring from one of his team's rare sights on goal, shooting inside the near post after Lamela flicked on Eric Dier's right-wing cross.
