West Ham christens new stadium with win over Bournemouth (The Associated Press)
In their first Premier League game at Olympic Stadium, West Ham United earned a narrow 1-0 victory over Bournemouth on Sunday on Michail Antonio's goal in the 85th minute. Antonio headed in from close range with time winding down as Slaven Bilic's men consigned the Cherries - who had Harry Arter sent off - to back-to-back defeats. It took 40 minutes before Bournemouth's Artur Boruc made the match's first save by tipping Enner Valencia's effort from a tight angle around the post.
