One victory, though, is nowhere near enough to make Jose Mourinho happy at the moment. After a trying week and stung by criticisms, Mourinho and Manchester United face an early tipping point in their season Saturday at Old Trafford against reigning title holders Leicester City. While Manchester United (3-0-2) are in seventh place on nine points, they are already six points behind frontrunning Manchester City, who have already outclassed them once at Old Trafford and get the chance to do so again next month in the round of 16 in the EFL Cup.
