Southampton 0, Leicester City 0 (The Associated Press)
Southampton started the brighter with Cedric looking lively down the right and the movement of Charlie Austin causing the Foxes a host of problems in the opening 15 minutes. After Austin should have done better with a glancing header that was straight at Kasper Schmeichel after nine minutes, Steven Davis found the former QPR striker with a lovely ball on 15 minutes before Austin volleyed against the post from a tight angle. Cedric had to be brought off after 25 minutes when picking up a knock, which coincided with the Foxes coming back into the game and nearly taking the lead on the half-hour mark.
