Burnley wins 3-2 thriller over Bournemouth (The Associated Press)
Burnley came out on top in a five-goal thriller as strikes from Jeff Hendrick, Stephen Ward and George Boyd ensured the hosts leapt up to 13th in the table on Saturday. Benik Afobe and Charlie Daniels twice reduced Burnley's leads, but it's a hangover from last Sunday's 4-3 win over Liverpool for Bournemouth, who stay 11th. It was a thrilling encounter from start to finish, although it was the Cherries who started on the front foot and came close on two occasions through Dan Gosling while Afobe tested Tom Heaton between the sticks.
