Swansea City 3, Sunderland 0 (The Associated Press)
Swansea City overcame Sunderland with a superb 3-0 victory Saturday at the Liberty Stadium as Fernando Llorente grabbed a second half brace. Jermain Defoe came close early on for the visitors but he rifled his shot just over the bar. Alfie Mawson and Jordi Amat then had good headed chances from Gylfi Sigurdsson's free-kicks but they both failed to find the back of the net.
