Everton scores late to beat Arsenal (The Associated Press)
Everton scored late in each half to come behind and beat Arsenal 2-1 at Goodison Park on Tuesday. The Toffees started the match poorly, in line with some recent disappointing form, and fell behind after 20 minutes to a fortunate Alexis Sanchez free kick. The Chile forward stepped up after Phil Jagielka had fouled Francis Coquelin just outside the box, and his low effort took a deflection as it squirted through Ashley Williams' legs to wrong-foot Maarten Stekelenburg and find the net.
