Tottenham Hotspur-Southampton Preview (The Associated Press)
Southampton will be presented with an example of what they could have had when Tottenham Hotspur travel to St Mary's on Wednesday. Spurs (9-6-2) have a track-record of taking talent off Southampton's hands, from Glenn Hoddle the manager to Gareth Bale the young prospect. Manager Mauricio Pochettino and players Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama have all swapped the south coast for north London in recent years and, with those three at the club, Spurs are making a decent fist of a consecutive top-four challenge.
