Arnautovic leads Stoke City past Middlesbrough 2-0 (The Associated Press)
Stoke City overcame Middlesbrough with a convincing 2-0 win on Saturday at the Bet 365 Stadium thanks to a first half double from Marko Arnautovic. The visitors didn't get off to the best of starts as Daniel Ayala went down with an injury on eight minutes and had to be replaced by Bernardo Espinosa. Ramadan Sobhi had the first real chance of the game on 14 minutes as Peter Crouch and Joe Allen combined before laying the ball off to the midfielder who curled his shot against the crossbar.
